Stanley Wilder

February 4, 1936 — June 30, 2020

Stanley E. Wilder, 84, passed away June 30, 2020.  Stan was born February 4, 1936 to George and Delores (Clendenon) Wilder in Bedford, IN.  He was a high school graduate who entered the Air Force after graduation in 1954.  He made a career in the military for 21 + years.  He traveled all over the world while enlisted to places like Germany, Guam, Thailand and Okinawa, Japan.  He was in Communications and he also chased typhoons.

He met Doris (Rearden) Wilder in 1960 and they were married February 22, 1964.  This marriage produced one daughter, Tani.  Stan and Doris were married over 56 years.

Stan loved to play golf, play cards and be with his family. He used to hunt and fish with his father-in-law and nephews.  His favorite day of the year was April Fools Day. He would rather trick you, than eat.  He also loved the Kansas City Chiefs.  He was elated that he was here to see another Super Bowl Championship!

Stan was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Jim, George, John, and Richard.  He is survived by his wife, Doris, his daughter, Tani (Jon), two granddaughters, Lyndsie and Hannah and a great grandson, Gabe, his pride and joy, along with many nieces and nephews.
