Our staff is comprised of professionals with a broad depth of funeral and cremation experience.  We are dedicated to helping direct you through this stressful and difficult time. Bridget Anaya

Bridget Anaya

General Manager, Funeral Director

Bridget has been in funeral service as a managing funeral director and embalmer in the Kansas City area since 1996.  A native of Coon Rapids, Iowa, she graduated from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, in 1994 with a degree in Accounting, and is also a 1995 graduate of the Mortuary Science program at KCKCC.   She has been married to her husband, John, since 2000 and they make their home in Shawnee with their two cats.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, exercising, traveling, and volunteering.

Bridget is passionate about helping others in their time of need and recognizes the importance of making every service meaningful.  


Miranda Walker

Care Center Manager

Miranda Walker graduated from Kansas City Kansas Community College, with a degree in Mortuary Science in 2017. Miranda has been a licensed cosmetologist since August 2003. She worked as a Makeup Artist, until deciding to further her education in 2011.

Born and raised in Emporia, Kansas she relocated to Pleasant Hill, Missouri twelve years ago, with her husband and two children. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, and friends. Her hobbies include camping; kayaking, traveling and watching her children participate in sports. 




Brinkley Grado

Funeral Director

Brinkley moved from her hometown of Wichita, KS in 2012 to Kansas City to pursue her career in the funeral industry. She is a Kansas licensed Asst. Funeral Director and earned her Missouri Funeral Director license in 2019. Outside of work Brinkley enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, hiking, and traveling.


RaKel Hooser

Funeral Director

RaKel is originally from South Dakota. She received a degree from a university in Minnesota before moving to Kansas City in 2010 to obtain her degree in Mortuary Arts. The funeral service and organ and tissue transplant industries kept her in Kansas City where she met her now husband, Josh. She enjoys a good book, spending time with her family at the park or going for walks, camping, cooking, and making "crafts" with her daughters. 

 

She has always had a passion for supporting families during their time of need and has always said making someone's worst day just a little bit better is the most rewarding part of her job.


Megan Breedlove

Megan Breedlove

Funeral Director

Megan joined the death care profession in 2018 as a Family Service Counselor, later being promoted to Funeral Director after completing her license in 2021. She is excited to be working for Longview Funeral Home & Cemetery as well as Terrace Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, helping and educating her hometown communities. Megan is grateful and honored for the opportunity to serve families who are struggling with loss as she aspires to continue making a difference in people's lives with her care and compassion. She met her loving husband in 2013 marrying him in 2016 gaining a full family with 3 step-sons. Megan is currently raising her family in Lee's Summit, MO where she was raised herself.

Megan has a strong presence in the community and volunteers for several local organizations. She is an Ambassador for the Grandview Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce and Raymore Chamber of Commerce, an active volunteer for Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street, and is a Rotarian for the South Kansas City Rotary. 

Megan Graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 2009 with her bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management. This is why she believes in bringing customer service as a priority in her profession and takes pride in honoring each family she serves with comfort and trust. Following this, she continued her education with Stratford Career institute getting a certificate in Funeral Service Administration to better help her understand her craft.

Susan Morrison

Susan Morrison

Administrative Assistant

Susan joined the Park Lawn Corporation as the Administrator for Longview Funeral Home and Cemetery in 2020.

 

She grew up in Topeka, Kansas and moved to the Kansas City Missouri area in 1988.

Susan has served on many different boards such as PTA, Altar and Rosary, Friends of Oak Grove and Freedom of Road Riders. She has over 20 years of experience as an administrator.

Susan is the mother of 5 and the grandmother of 10, so in her spare time she enjoys spending time with her oldest daughter and family who live nearby in Belton and traveling to see her other 4 children and 8 grandchildren who live in 4 different states. She also enjoys reading, bowling, photography and riding her Harley Davidson.

 


Nancy Klamm

Family Service Director

Born a native to Kansas, Nancy grew up in the Northland and moved to Durango, Colorado after a couple of years at Mizzou.  Nancy has a varied background ranging from owning restaurants to working in the traditional corporate arena.  Nancy has a Masters of Organizational Leadership obtained from Southern New Hampshire University. She spent 15 years in the New England area, raising her children in Maine. 

In 2013, Nancy returned to KC to help her aging parents. Throughout this process she became focused on end of life care and knowledgeable about challenges families face during their later years.   When a counselor position became available at Johnson County Memorial Chapel, it was a natural transition to begin working in this industry to help other families navigate this journey.  


Jarkis Fulghem

Jarkis Fulghem

Family Service Director

Jarkis began his career in the funeral profession in 2020.  He attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, majoring in Communications, and received a bachelor's degree in Communications from Ottawa University in 2005.


Jarkis spent several years working in Corporate America for Sprint, Lucent Technologies, Corning, and Mott Corporation.


Jarkis has a strong desire to serve humanity and has found his calling helping people navigate the often difficult task of burying loved ones.

Joe Rogers

Joe Rogers

Cemetery Superintendent

Joe Rogers is currently the Superintendent of Longview Cemetery and Terrace Park Cemetery, after accepting a promotion in August 2018 to operate both cemeteries. We are grateful to have his experience and see what he brings to the cemetery in his new role. 

Joe Rogers transferred to Longview Cemetery in 2016 after having been with Johnson County Memorial Gardens for over five years as part of the cemetery maintenance personnel. Joe started his career with Johnson County as a seasonal employee and was soon promoted to a full-time position. Joe had become a dedicated leader to the rest of the cemetery staff with responsibilities including backhoe operation, placing markers, general upkeep of the indoor and outdoor mausoleums, and many other tasks.

Joe currently resides in Kansas City with his girlfriend and 8 year old son, Aiden. A Kansas City native, Joe continues to enjoy exploring the city in his free time. He also appreciates spending unending hours with his extended family in the area, time in his large garden and working on small home projects. As most from Kansas City, Joe enjoys barbequing and taking in a great Chiefs game!

Andre Murray

Andre Murray

Cemetery Maintenance

Andre Murray began working for Johnson County Funeral Chapel and Memorial Gardens in 2013; and was entrusted with the care and maintenance at Longview Funeral Home & Cemetery in 2021. 
He was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, where he still resides and graduated from Southwest High School. He has three children. Andre has a passion for tennis, not only playing, but also teaching other adults and children to play as well. He spends many hours a week on a tennis court, when he is not spending time with his children. 
In years passed, he was a member of Hilltop Racquet Club, Tennis Team and has supported his step-mother, a survivor of breast cancer, by running in the Susan G. Komen race for the cure. Other than tennis, Andre enjoys playing pool, darts, bowling and the many museums that the city has to offer.

Funeral Ambassador

Harlan Breedlove came on board with Longview Funeral Home & Cemetery in 2019. He was raised in Platte City, Missouri. He is raising his 3 boys in Lee’s Summit, MO with his Wife Megan.  He has worked in Customer care for over 13 years. 

He enjoys comic books, movies, and traveling with his family.


Crystal Kleyh

Ambassador

Crystal Kleyh is a lifetime Kansas Citian.  She has two children and four grandboys.  She retired from the health insurance industry after 35 years.  She enjoys traveling, game nights and spending time with family and friends.  She is also an active member of First Bible Baptist Church.
